This question is often debated online, but the role of quinine in combating malaria among the British in 19th-century India is a common theme, and it has remained popular since then. Now in 2025, we want to beat the G&T at its own game! That is no small task.
In short, it has a long tradition that is hard to f*ck with. In recent years, especially in Hong Kong, gin has transformed from being your grandmother’s once-uncool favourite drink into a trendy spirit for niche, elevated cocktails.
